Activities done at the park
Chimpanzee trekking
Unlike the chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale national park, trekking in Semuliki national park is more strenuous. This is because the chimpanzees move over a long distance making it hard to find due to the dry forest habitat that pushes them to move for longer distances in search of forage and shelter. Despite the almost rough living conditions, the chimpanzees still fascinate watchers when they walk for a short distance on their two legs. Join researchers as they seek to unpack the evolution of these primate species and become part of history.
