5-Days Lake Mburo and Gorilla trek, This is an amazing Safari in Uganda that takes tourists to Lake Mburo National Park in Kirihura district where visitors get great views of the animals. Visitors also get a chance to visit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Day 1-5-Days Lake Mburo and Gorilla trek.
Arrival at Lake Mburo National Park and checking in to the accommodations. Visitors welcomed by the guides who brief them about the Safari. Later in the afternoon visitors can go for a game drive.
Day 2
After early morning breakfast, guests meet up with the guide for a drive during which they watch animals like Topi, bushbacks and Impala and then a boat cruise after lunch to see some hippos and crocodiles.
Day 3
After breakfast, visitors are accompanied by the guide and an armed park ranger to go for short nature walks in the park. From here visitors can catch sight of animals such as zebras and giraffes .Visitors then head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After lunch visitors can then enjoy spectacular views of the Kigezi hills.
Day 4
After early morning breakfast, then to head to the headquarters where they are briefed about the journey by the rangers and then assigned a guide who is well conversant with the park. They are then allocated a habituated gorilla family to trek. The trek can take 30-8hrs depending on the location of the gorilla family but during which visitors can still sight other primates and birds. After the gorilla family has been found visitors are allowed only 1hr during which they can bond, observe their behaviors and take photos.
