7 Days Best of Rwanda , For the visitor who wants to enjoy more of Rwanda’s stunning beauty, its incredible mountain views, mountain gorillas and its chimpanzees, exciting culture and unbelievable history then this is the trip for you.

Day 1/7 Days Best of Rwanda 

Arrival at the airport where you will picked from by the driver to take a stroll on the streets of Kigali’s impeccable art scenery. This gives you a chance to buy souvenirs from the markets then after embark on a 2hour journey to the volcanoes national park.

Day 2 

After breakfast you will visit the Kigali Memorial Genocide Center where you will learn more of the tragic history that saw more than a million people slaughtered over tribal wars and see the mass grave where they were buried. You will see photographs and written accounts of the victims.

Day 3/7 Days Best of Rwanda 

The day starts with early breakfast and then transfer to the headquarters at Kinigi for a briefing then after start the gorilla trekking experience. The trekking can take upto 8hours depending on the location of the gorilla family but the experience is like no other and it will fill up your photo album with memories.

Day 4

After an early breakfast you will checkout and you will embark on a journey to Nyungwe forest national park. You will have stopovers at lake Kivu where you will enjoy a boat ride around the virgin Islands including Napoleon’s Hat Island famous for hosting the Angola bats, visit the Gusakula tea estates and the Rwanda national museum for a brief history lesson.

Day 5

After an energizing breakfast, you will take to the headquarters at Uwinka Information Center for a briefing before entering the forest for chimpanzee trekking. Chimpanzee trekking is less strenuous compared to gorilla trekking because the chimpanzees are more active and can easily be spotted.

Day 6

The day starts with morning breakfast there after a canopy walk on top of the forest along the canopy trail. You will get see the forest from above and enjoy views of the wildlife that live there. You will also visit the Nyungwe waterfalls on Isumo trail perfect for a picture moment then later enjoy some local entertainment and cultural dances that will take you through the evening sunset.

Day 7/7 Days Best of Rwanda 

After morning breakfast you will prepare for the journey to Kigali but not without making one last stop at Nyanza historical site where the royal kings, king Musinga and king Rudahigwa sat.
