What to pack for a Uganda safari?, The best advice would be to pack everything that would otherwise not be readily available when you need it but also in minimal to leave some space for souvenirs that you may buy along the way and ease of travel. Blending in key wear muted colors such as brown, beige, green that will camouflage you into the surroundings.

Firstly, You should carry your passport since it is used as your identification card during the safari. The visa and as well as all the required paperwork while travelling should be your first requirements in your bag.

Then the other essentials to carry for instance:

Khaki, green, beige and neutral colors (dark blue, white and black clothing avoided as it is a tsetse fly magnet).

 Shirts with long sleeves in order to provide protection from sun, mosquitoes and tsetse flies

T-shirts for when it becomes unbelievably hot

Shorts

Jeans or safari trousers for evenings and cooler days

A jacket and a sweater are recommended for early mornings and evening game drives

Light weight water proof jackets

Rain gear.

Sturdy trousers

Swim and beach wear.

Hiking shoes water (water proof)

Comfortable walking shoes

Personal first aid kit

Flash light.

Sun block, sunglasses, hat, moisturizers

Strong insect repellant  to avoid bugs such as mosquitoes, tse tse flies  among others.

Binoculars and cameras, memory cards, enough batteries for the camera and any other item you find necessary on this trip. Please note that drones require special permission.

Lastly a backpack to carry water and lunch among others.
