13 Days Uganda Tour, The safari offers a great long experience through Uganda. This incredible tour brings you to the pearl of Africa, Uganda for the ultimately stunning views, landscapes ,game drives among others.
Day 1
On arrival you will be welcomed by the guide or driver. Who will then take you to your booked accommodation in Kampala. If you fly in early, you can take a city tour and visit popular sites including, Kasubi tombs. Where the Bugandi Kings are buried, Bahai temple and Nakasero market where you can interact with the locals.
Day 2
After morning breakfast, you will start the journey to Murchison falls national park which is a 7-8 hours’ drive from Kampala. There will be a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for some rhino tracking. Then you will proceed to the park.
Day 3
After a good morning breakfast, you will go on an early game drive where you will see early rising animals and predators including lions, leopards , , large herds of elephants ,. After a lunch break at the lodge, you will enjoy a boat ride along the Nile River which goes all the way to the bottom of the Murchison falls. From the bottom you will observe the mighty falls as they drop to the ground making it tremble. You may also opt to hike back up making it a good exercise for those who want to stay fit.
Day 4
You will be served breakfast early in time to start the journey southwest to Kibale Forest National Park. This 8 hour trip comes with stop overs not only for lunch but also at Lake Albert and at the Rift valley escarpments that have spectacular views.
Day 5/13 Days Uganda Tour
After an early breakfast, you will be taken to Kanyanchu tourist center where you will be briefed about the dos and don’ts of chimpanzee trekking. The forest has numerous primates such as black and white colobus, red tailed monkeys among others. When you have found the chimpanzees, you will observe them in their natural surroundings and see how they behave and then enjoy a photo moment with them. After resting at the lodge, you will go for an evening stroll in Bigodi ecotourism project for some history lesson.
Day 6
After morning breakfast you will go on a 3hr drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will be able to enjoy a night game drive and catch sight of many animals in the dark you may be lucky to see predators hunting this will be after you evening boat ride along the Kazinga channel which has the highest concentration of animals in the park.
Day 7
The day starts with a mouthwatering breakfast you will take a ride to Kyambura gorge for chimpanzee tracking. Chimpanzee tracking is a fun where you come close to the trained Chimpanzee. In the morning hours your find them active making it easy to spot them while having breakfast or eating. you will then proceed for lunch at your lodge and relaxation before you embark on another game drive another evening short game drive in Kasenyi / salt pan visit.
Day 8
After morning breakfast, You will then travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest which is home to most of the worlds endangered species of mountain gorillas. Trough Ishasha sector to search for tree climbing lions before you proceed the mist forest of Bwindi impenetrable national park.
Day 9/13 Days Uganda Tour
Your breakfast served early enough so that you don’t miss out. You will have packed lunch from the lodge this id because we are not certain on where to find them though its 100% chances of seeing them. The trekking starts from where the gorillas were last spotted the previous day while nesting. Gorilla trekking may take 1-8 hours depending on their location but once they have been spotted, you will have an hour with them observing their behavior and take photographs. Depending on the time you may go the Batwa community or have an evening relaxation.
Day 10
You will have breakfast early in the morning then travel to Lake Bunyonyi which offers visitors stunning views and it is also a birders haven. You can relax at the lake as you enjoy the beautiful sunset and traditional Bakiga stories.
Day 11
Early in the morning after breakfast, you can visit the Bakiga cultural museum where you will enjoy looking at stunning art pieces and artifacts and after proceed to Lake Mburo national park for an evening gam search.
Day 12
Your will enjoy your morning game drive/ horse riding or bicycle park ride after breakfast Lake Mburo which offers a birding experience like no other. You will also watch animals such as hippos, crocodiles and later travel back to Kampala with a stopover at the equator.
Day 13
You can relax at a hotel in Kampala or go out for a walk about town as you wait for your flight.
